Supportive supervision to lean into and learn from the discomfort. For LCMHCA who need supervision, I am a board approved supervisor in North Carolina. My fees for supervision are $90 for individual sessions and $70 for monthly two hour group supervision.

About Jody Montrie, LCMHC-S

With more than 25 years of experience working with children and teenagers as well as supporting parents, I use a somatic approach along with my knowledge of the autonomic nervous system to explore and deepen our connection with emotions, thoughts, and behaviors. My background includes serving as a school counselor and working in community mental health, providing me with insight into the diverse challenges individuals face throughout their lives.

For more than 20 years, I have mentored the next generation of counselors. As a supervisor and educator, I guide licensees through their counseling training, ensuring they are well-equipped to support others in their professional journeys.

I am also an experienced trainer for organizations such as Resources for Resilience. I help others to understand childhood stress and trauma. As a trainer, I teach practical strategies to build understanding of the neurobiology and resilience in within ourselves and the people we serve.
